If you are interested in professional portrait photography, then this workshop is the right one for you!
In this 8-hour course you will learn everything you need to know about this topic, whether it is about the conception of a shoot, the different types of light and lighting, the correct use of studio equipment and cameras, and, above all, the correct way to deal with people to be photographed .
Only analogue medium and large format cameras are used in this workshop! All techniques can of course also be applied to digital photography, but analogue cameras require much more precise, deliberate and slower work, which has a significant impact on the results. There is also a great opportunity to take photos with Linhof large format or Mamiya medium format cameras.
The theoretical part of the workshop is about:
- basic theories about portrait photography, what is a portrait
- on location or studio, which is better
- Conception - from the idea to implementation
- How do I deal with my model?
The practical part includes:
- the photo studio, facilities and equipment
- light, light shaper, light setting, light measurement
- cameras, camera angles and footage
- several sets to implement what you have learned
Several medium and large format cameras are provided, as well as a roll of 120 roll film per person.
